so funny i was completly scared of this songs as a child... my dad and brother used to listen to it... but the images of the guns and fighting totally scared me.... its odd looking at it now and seeing how its basically not scary at all from an adults perspective...

I keep seeing alot of these "hip hop is dead" posts. Yes, it died sometime in the early to mid 90's. Move on. I still love oldschool stuff!

Why do people keep saying Hip Hop is dead? obviously after like 3 decades hip hop is alive and going. People thought hip hop would die after the 80's. Look your comparing soulja boy to this isnt fair. Of course music will change as time goes on Hip hop has many branches, soulja boy has a southern style which is totally different

When they say it's "dead" they mean it's creatively dead. And they're right.

Hip hop now is like a zombie that's being kept alive by Jew record execs who market it to all these sucker consumers who will buy anything that's pushed on them.. but even the execs are looking for something different. That's why they were putting out anything and everything that featured auto-tune about a year ago.

the fuck? Soulja Boy? ain't that the dude that literally killed hip hop. Same dude that said Naz killed hip hop and then lied and said he didn't say it. Soullja Boy is Hip Hop's Miley Cyrus, all the resemblance and comparison included.
