Representatives Tony Sertich and Lyn Carlson make moving arguments why the Minnesota House should override Governor Tim Pawlenty's veto of health care for poor, disabled people - many of whom are veterans.

Despite thier arguments, and those of many others on the floor and in the Minnesota House, the override effort failed to get the needed 2/3 majority. Every single Republican member chose to stand with Pawlenty over the needs of whom Pawlenty's Human Services Commissioner says are "the poorest of the poor, the sickest of the sick"
