Cougar Climbing Tree

This was an unexpected treat, at Wildlife Prairie Park, they have two cougars who were both very active yesterday. The most amazing thing, however, was when one of them thought it looked like fun to leap onto and climb up to the highest part of a narrow tree. I did take footage of the cougar climbing down again, but the climb up turned out much nicer. Watch carefully as he/she leaps, they're so graceful.

ran into one today...good thing I did not climb a tree... ran till my lungs tasted like blood... ...not so fun when you're bird watching and one pops out of a field, and is coming toward you...I didn't have anything for protection.
