You know how I said I never had a clogged milk duct, well I just got one. I am on my medicine and its starting to go away.

oh man!! i'm sorry you have to deal with that! isnt there anyway to prevent them? if you pump after you feed? Would that help? every few hours not just when you have a clog? Chelsea loves your necklace! lol

@ReillyAJ The only thing I'm doing now to prevent is taking Lecithin. I was pumping after every feed before taking Lecithin..and they kept coming back so I stopped. I hate pumping...plus I dont want to take the chance of increasing my milk supply by pumping so much....I'm just hoping my body works itself out and adjusts :)

thats never happened to me but to get my milk supply up I drank a lot of water and cut back on the dairy :)

@LeAnnaMae29 This is my first time BF and I had no idea what one was either until I got one and googled it lol but yes ..something to for sure keep in mind...but seems like most people only maybe get one in the beginning and thats it...not me!

@jollyjess6 Sorry to hear that!! but yes its always nice to know your not alone :) I have no idea why mine started at 4 months pp...weird!! I am a little bit of an over producer.....but I refuse to pump...I hate it...plus I don't want take the chance of increasing my milk suppy

I'm at 7 mths pp too. I also get clogged milkducts alot too. I think I'm an over producer or it could be from the increased amount of solids my boy is taking in. I have to pump usually once or twice a day. I don't really have any advice but your not alone :)
