Well, When I was young like 8 years old or something, usually a good 6 or 10 second short spanking is acceptable and it taught me a lesson to straighten up and it was without a belt.

But that video I just saw that you suggested.. It was horrible and unbelievable, The spanking is bad for one thing, it looked to aggressive. But the swearing it just made it worse and it probably hurt that poor girl emotionally as well. My parent's never swear at me whenever I do something wrong....

spanking is not good to do to a kid i was at the bus stop at my school and a mom and her kid was standing thare and the mom just hit har kid for being bad i did not like seeing that

That judge was sick. You can't do that to any child, but in this case it was even worse. The girl had cerebral pulsey. She was completely defenseless against her father and something needs to be done. Plenty of other parents exist today like that today. Child Services needs to get out there and tell us how this is wrong and stary fighting the court system. Whenever kids are really abused, but its not sexual, it seems like we can't take them away. Something needs to be done

as far watching the video i come from long line of spankers so its not that shocking for me but the girl has mild form of Cerebral Pulsey and ive been hearing that the video might of been set by the girl because he took her Car away from her I also understand she might have had padded herself before the video dont know for sure.

Wow, I actually watched through the entire video and must say it was quite shocking. Even the mom took over the belt at one point, not really what I expected. No, this is not acceptable at all, both those parents should be punished, whether the police gives a shit or not (apparently they don't, according to the video description)

Like you said, spanking may be fine as long as it's meant to create embarrassment, not pain.
