6'7"+ 240, PARADE ALL AMERICAN, ALL CALIFORNIA 1ST TEAM,runs a 4.7 forty (High School track Coach Maurice Green)
Whether you want Dillon to get the edge on a fly route with his exceptional hands and athleticism, or to OWN his edge in contain, or chase down a fleet footed quarterback from the strong side DE, He is your guy. Scout has ranked him as a 4**** TE, #15 Nationally, mostly because of his performance in Nationally televised games in the state of Washington (Skyline #9), CIF -- SS, and his dominance in every high level camp he has attended. Dillon has rarely put his hand down on offensive this year, as his Team with 5+ - D1 receivers went to the pistol offense, and further felt Dillon's dominant play on defense was mission critical to the TEAM's success. However, when it came to the last play of the season, for all the marbles and a CIF TITLE, everybody in the stadium knew who was going to get the ball. It is widely known, from last year and 7 on 7s that Dillon is virtually indefensible in the Red Zone with: his size, vertical, athleticism, and arguably the best hands on Team of 5 D1 receivers (Mike Sherrard, Super Bowl Champion)! That is why the opposing Coach double Teamed and held him; (he still got open) leaving the QB to run it in. Dillon is an extremely coachable student of the game; he may be one of those rare athletes who can serve his Team from both sides of the ball (Stanford's Owen Marecic).
Additionally, of note; Dillon is also a D1 capable basketball player; he has played AAU at the National level since he was 9. This basketball gift is partially responsible for his innate ability to get open and gain separation in his precisely run routes.
