My Girl

3rd March 1965 was a bad day for music. It spawned a specimen who would go on to serve up musical torture to unsuspecting YT enthusiasts for eternity.

On that day, the Temptations were at the top of the tree in the US. Penned by Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, it's a HAPPY song for a happy time of year and my first to involve a key change!

I did this song as part of a birthday challenge undertaken by a few other You Tube musicians. You're welcome to have a go yourselves if you do mind your age being known!!

By the way and before you pick me up on it, I am aware of the paradoxical double standards presented by being quite comfortable singing 'heys' and 'wooos' on this while unable to manage a single 'la' in 'Wild World'.
