This game rules, possibly the best out of all the Panel de Pon games. I'm still stuck to this game, Wi-Fi less, and I had it for almost a month.

  • Oh, come on! Tetris never had any mascots. Are there really something to gripe about?

Now if SEGA and ?Sonic Team could get rid of the characters of Puyo Pop Fever...

  • If they were to get rid of the Puyo Fever characters, there'd be no unique drop patterns, or differences in power.

  • This game is awesome, but I do wish it was more like Panel De Pon for the SNES (Tetris Attack). I was hoping to become familliar with the Japanese characters and hoping that it would have been as fast as TA was. This game is just too damn slow.

  • Too bad she isn't. But at least her music is in!

  • @collwatt Yes, you can.

  • can i use d pad instead of stylus

  • how many copies this game has selled??????????

  • Wow, I'm really disappointed to read that the game is too slow. I just ordered it. I know I'm a few years late, but I just heard about it 10 minutes ago. :P

  • u guys sound like u know your puzzlers :D

  • I know. The fairies are so cute. I am still planning to buy Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the four player mode and 3D formats.

  • I love Planet Puzzle League almost as much as Pokemon Puzzle League (N64), mainly because of the presentation. PPL-N64 had a lot of personality that seems to be missing in PPL-DS. Also, I'm a little disappointed with the slow detonate and drop rate - makes the game feel sluggish (unless you're on Hard mode - then the drops seem too fast).

Still, awesome game, and definitely worth keeping. :)

  • More likely because there was little point to a story mode in a puzzle game. Plus, there was disparity between the Japanese and American releases throughout the series - PdP has the fairies, whereas the American releases featured Yoshi's Island characters and (later) Pokemon. Branding is difficult. By reducing the presentation, they can provide a more consistent release internationally. Especially important when you include online capability. :)
