  • The slide stop did not function. Why?

  • cheap magazines [the $5 type]

  • Nice. try keepin your stance smooth enough so you don't have to drop your head while sighting in! Ofcourse target dictates so if it works for you roll with it Bro! Iv'e got a nice Kimber Custom BP TenII. It's got a double stack magwell, I love high cap 1911's! Night sights, Match Grade trigger, sear, sear spring, barrel, brushing, all the uptake gone from the trigger pull and it's set at a crisp 3.5 lbs! Glad your enjoying yours!

  • I was too excited about stance when I shot it for the first time!! haha but my 1911a1c also has almost all the same upgrades as yours, but not all of them. ttyl

  • Im not going to say anything regarding this video as you can pretty much tell the jelousy is overwhelming. But VERY nice and classic pistol.

  • Hey bud thanks! I've been waiting about 5 months total since I bought that Pistol to fire it. Dumb Canadian Firearms Centre kept screwing up paper work and what not and laws on moving 'restricted' firearms just takes way too long, but oh wel thats done with! Hope you like the vids

  • Most of the customizations seem a bit impractical for combat.

Light trigger, not conductive with high stress situations. Full guide rod complicates dissembly. Extended mag release might make mags fall ou when holstered.

Seems more like a stock competition handgun.

  • You'd be suprised really, I have a 3 pound on my 1911. 1911's are actually very safe guns. As long as that saftey is engaged and the grip saftey isnt being touched it wont fire. A light trigger like that makes accurate shooting just a little bit easier.

  • Why not? lighter trigger means more bullets in the bad guy, lol

  • 2.5 pound trigger? I seriously hope that's not a carry gun. That is WAY too light.

  • Awkward movements, even if it's your first time. You're pulling mags out from your shooting side(rightside). Thigh rigs or ok, but they don't offer quick pulls. They're really meant for you to be able to carry other options. Get a regular belt attached mag holder instead. It'll help a 100%. Have fun!

  • Is that a Colt?

  • also if u want less recoil from the .45, try the push and pull method, u push with ur right hand and pull with the left, keeping both of ur thumbs perpindicular with the slide, and the gun a foot away from ur face.

  • yea we just designed a new holster, its called minataur, its half leather and half kydex--plastic, its comfortable and still conceiled. but yeah, Is that a paddle or belt holster? Also if ur holster is shifting get a stronger belt, something real thick and stiff. But ur holster doesnt sound too bad,
