John Chambers, Cisco Chairman and CEO, and Fredrik Halvorsen, Tandberg CEO, discuss how the combination of Cisco and Tandberg will disrupt the collaboration market.
Im working at one of the larger Tandberg resellers in Europe and this will be cool if its goes thru. Just one thing, if they are going together, it can be a somewhat monopoly like company :) And this can by it self prevent it from happening... or has there been any news on this?
having worked with Tandberg 4-5 years ago in the pioneer-days of Video-Telephony (Tandberg Units running on Cisco CallManager) I truly can say it was a great pleasure to work with the bright guys from Tandberg. So great news that finally both companies are about to form THE video collaboration powerhouse with a great team of engineers and visionaries behind it.

I would not want to be in Polycoms shoes right now with this 4,000lb gorilla now sitting in the same room.
