There were several examples of this abbreviated Daylight scheme including the two A6 Engines used on the Sacramento Daylight, 3000 and 3001 I believe. There were also some MT4s (?) painted this way and at least one example of a GS4. I'd have to look in the Dunscomb book of SP steam to get a number, but I'm sure the owner of this fine model got it right if painting in this unusual (correct) combination. DH

Very nice, I want one! For some reason I love the way it looks without the sideskirts... maybe because I can better see those massive drivers.

Suprisingly, I haven't seen a GS-4 without the side skirts lik that. Interesting.
