With all the talk about our autistic kids, down syndrome kids and with other disabilities such as my daughters rare chromosome disorder. I decided to create a little video of pictures, of my daughter, Karlee...from birth up to present. It still amazes me how our world is so unaccepting of children who are a little "different" in some way, from other children. All our children want, is to be loved, accepted and respected as a person...not treated differently because they walk different, talk different..or not talk at all. I think my daughter is beautiful, inside and out. Yes, its been a hard road with her, and will be even more as she gets older, but I love her, and accept her for the person she is...not who I wish she was!
