This is truly amazing. I must admit this song is a favorite of mine, integral to the story of how my life played out but even not having that association - this is absolutely beautiful. Isolating Smokey's track like this (no pun) you can't escape the vital role his voice played in propelling this song into doo wop history. Being a fan of a cappella harmony it's also a joy to sing along the back up lines with him as if I were a Miracle.
