I am struck by the similarity of the scene here, prior to launch, of the sun/spotlight from Apollo missions. The lighting effects of their spotlight is almost spot on for the effects of the 'sun' on the apollo moon.........set.....

Also the drop off of light effect, limiting the distance one can see beyond it. The same effect occurs in all the videos, photos from Apollo. An evenly, sun lit surface of the moon, should illuminate MILES UPON MILES of lunar surface...
