@ecnarongi That's something entirely different, 'cause it's in a different country...i'm just speaking about the ppl in America!
-
@junior3003 The entire island was colonized by Europeans. Are you suggesting that Africans colonized Haiti? Of course not. Africans got to the Americans all the same way. Some dropped off in the Caribbean and South America others in North America. But 100% of the Africans brought to the Americas were black.

@813flawdaboy I imagine if I was in France people wouldn't refer to me as "black" but rather American. That wouldn't stop the fact that I am black.
-
@junior3003 What? Hispanics are made up of 3 different ethnic groups and it is NOT a race. The Native Americans, Europeans, and Africans make up the group of people we call Hispanics. WOW, WOW, WOW so not only is Zoe not black, she is White? WoW.
-
@ecnarongi that because they were colonized by different people.
-
@liacashmere58 First of all is debatable to say Hispanic is not a race, just because it is not in the US census, that doesn't mean is not a race. Hispanics aren't black, they are considered White.
-
@ecnarongi Thank you. She's black. Hispanic is not a race. She even said HERSELF she's a black woman is essence magazine
-
she is so cool !
-
@ecnarongi yea, even though puerto ricans and dominicans have african decent in their ethnic background, they are not considered "black" but rather latinos/hispanics....I myself am puerto rican, and people don't refer to me as "black" but puerto rican
-
@813flawdaboy You mean she isn't African American, because she is black. There are black (African decent) latinos. Its crazy to me that Hatians are black, but Dominicans (who happen to be on the same island) aren't.
Zoe's a funny girl.
