Does any1 know any community pits or some place where I could pan for gold? I know there are some spots in Cali but I live in Texas so I was wondering if there was government owned land where you could go to for free.

No luck with much public land here. just make friends with some ranchers or buy your own property to prospect on.

I think last time i saw him he mentioned being from Junction Texas. But he drives that RV all over so his home is where the gold is!
