This editing technique has intrigued me for quite some time. I hope you find this video helpful!

There is no audio. The steps are simple-
Take your base image, and add a transparent layer over it. On the transparent layer, place a linear gradient (two colors), and under the layer mode select "Overlay". Viola!

  • I make some program, that create gradient for Gimp and Inkscap-e that You can find here: registry.gimp.org/node/25571 It is very easy to create gradients in this program based on photos or graphics.
