7 Ghost 1 - My submission to the Nine Inch Nails Film Fest

This is a viddy I shot for the NIN film Fest. The footage was inspired by the emotion the music filled me with. The music is 7 Ghost 1. I want to thank the actors for being my human props and willing to do whatever I said. (perfect actors)

I think whats disturbing is the fact that in your video information you put "This is the emotion the music filled me with" or something similar. I don't really see how this music made you think of what you showed in this video. It's not that Im offended by it, I just feel its a strange connection and I feel that doing something....I dunno, as obscure and controversial as this doesn't necessarily make this any more artistic or expressive. My two cents anyway

What I meant by that is that the music was auditorily dirty, gritty and grunged. It made me think of an underground, seedy world such as in 8mm or angel heart.

NIN has very raw and socially challenging music... I believe that is what makes it so good. I really enjoy some of their stuff, especially this spin off of it. Honestly, I think this reflects their work perfectly. Some responses to this would be the same that NIN would get for the nature of their music. Props all around.

Secondly, what is being portrayed is disturbing, I think people see this behavior as pathological, and as sad as it sounds, is obviously less well received then the suicide and murdering videos that are being submitted. Societal beliefs have strange dynamics. But you thought of it and you had the nerve to post it...it's very creepy what this music can bring out of the human mind.
