Charlie Webster explains how to support the Best Beginnings 'Small Wonders' project by donating through the Big Give on Monday 6th December 2010 at 10.00 am.

This short film was shot at the Winnicot Baby Unit, London, in November 2010. It features Vicky and her baby Jacob, who wasn't due to be born until Christmas Day, but by then he will already be 13 weeks old. Vicky has learned the vital role she can play in his care, through touch and voice, skin-to-skin contact, expressing and giving breast milk. Jacob is one of a number of babies being filmed with their families in neonatal units that are centres of excellence across the UK. The resulting DVD will be given free to the parents of premature and sick babies across the UK to enable them to play a beneficial role in their babies' care.
