This video came to me after hearing the new Mindless Self Indulgence Single, Mastermind, back in February. I thought that the song would work very well for a Kira profile focusing mostly on Light. I had the iTunes version of the song initially and while I was working on the video. The CD finally came out and as soon as my copy was delivered I ripped it and put the lossless file into the project. I worked on this video off and on since February and finished it in July. I have been sitting on it for the Anime Weekend Atlanta Pro Contest. When the final round of voting started and I saw that I wasn't nominated to it I decided to make the credits and encode it. The encode of this video has been one of the most annoying encodes I have ever done. I use the Zarxrax h.264 encoder for mp4s and the only way to keep this video under 100 MB, and make it look good enough for upload, I have to set it to 3 passes, 3000 kbps and insane settings. This is the encode that I have on the Local.


***SPOILER ALERT***

Overall this video focuses on Light and his role as Kira. I try to only focus on what Light has to deal with when L comes into the picture up to the part where L dies and he thinks he has won but ends up dying in the end. The name of the video serves as a double meaning. I took the line "Your time has come, Kiss it all goodbye" from the song. This serves as what Light is thinking when he uses the Death Note to kill people but it also refers to how he dies in the end.
