At the end of the day every one is "quiet" and not in the streets protesting, cuz every one lives in the pocket of the banks and government. Even if people are pissed of and see whats going on, they simply weigh their options. Miss a day of work and not be able to afford to pay rent that month, posibly get arested and get the snot beat out of by our lovely riot police. or simply hope that it will change on its own. Welcome to the land of the "will it hurt my credit rating?"

@larsjake Here are the topics that Beck has done more to educate Americans than any other broadcaster in the History of the US. 1. The Federal Reserve - Beck has done many shows teaching Americans how this horrible entity works and what they do. 2. Economics - Over the past 4 years, Beck has had a vast array of in depth shows on economic issues covering: Inflation of the money supply Debt to production ratios unfunded liabilities deflation - causations Fannie Mae Freddie Mac etc

@FreeTheNation And he also used pre colonial america as the example of an entire "christian" nation. Which is of course false. That is one of many, And while I appreciate your enthusiasm for beck, I do not share it. But you are stating your opinion and belief, which is great! I am just merely stating that he gets facts wrong sometimes. That is all. Like I said, I tend to follow Jeffersonian ideals, a TV entertainer doesn't impress me much, he is along the same lines as John Stewart IMHO

@FreeTheNation You need to follow each of your posts with "in my opinion". What statistics exist to prove beck has educated more people than any other broadcaster/entertainer? I am not nor have ever been ignorant. The things the tea party is whining about I was aware of 15 years ago. Anyway. How many parts of the book did you skip over? to start, in "arguing with idiots" beck claims that before "modern" america, the only religion in the country was protestant christianity.

On the subject matter of economics, ALONE, Beck has presented more facts, more information and has exposed more corruption than EVERY OTHER BROADCASTER ALIVE TODAY COMBINED.

His research and presentations on economics is GENIUS and he is single handedly responsible for the mass education of what used to be an ignorant population

I don't get mad at people for different ideas. THAT's what I'm promoting.

On Beck - I will say this:

He broadcasts 3 hours of radio per day, 1 hour of TV per day and also produces various videos and news stories for his two other websites.

That's 25 PLUS hours per week or well over 1000 hours per year of SPEAKING.

The ratio of his mistakes to his GENIUS presentations to the American People is astounding.

Can you tell me, from your point of view, what specifically in Hayek's book promotes Liberalism???

@FreeTheNation Only history will tell, I can't stand either one of them for the most part, Olberman whines, and Beck yells. Your hyperbole reminds of 1856 LOL. Are we to trade a federal government for a theocracy? I have more of the Beck "slips", but first I want to make sure we are on the same page here, fact only, no emotional rhetoric, not any of this " the guy I watch on TV is GOD!!!! and will kill you if you don't follow!!!!" just the facts....sir! also, "Galvanize" :)
