Randy Meisner was the cutest, best looking, nicest, most kindhearted and had the best voice, best vocals of all The Eagles band. Nobody else bit him should sing this beautiful song.....it belongs to him...he is a beautiful soul.

Lynn, Randy didn't want to leave, but Glen made it too difficult to want to stay. The sad part is he left too cheap. He sold his 1/5th stock ownership interest back to the group and receives royalties, but it was worth so much more. Felder won his lawsuit, and his net worth is considered to be $60,000,000. That's after giving his ex-wife, Susan, half of his assets. Randy is still financially comfortable from royalties alone!

Una, prior to Don Felder filing his lawsuit for breach of fiduciary trust against Eagles, Ltd., Frey and Henley he called Timothy B. and Joe Walsh. He told both that he was not only filing suit for himself but for them as well. Joe and Timothy did not support Felder and just wanted him to "go along to get along." Felder had a 20% ownership Interest in Eagles, Ltd. and only wanted what he was entitled to. It wasn't forthcoming. He prevailed in a court of law and is now a very rich man.

I can't disagree. They were the prolific ones. Greatest Hits Album 1971-1975 reflects Jackson Browne as lead writer for Take It Easy with Frey; J. Tempchin for Already Gone & Peaceful, Easy Feeling; Randy Meisner for Take It To The Limit with Henley; Don Felder wrote the music for Hotel California with lyrics by Henley; Henley and Leadon wrote Witchy Woman; Henley & Frey wrote Lyin' Eyes; Desperado; One of These Nights; Tequila Sunrise. Henley, Frey and J.D. Souther wrote Best of My Love.

No surprise there. If Don Felder made an album or guest appeared with David Gilmour that would be a great collaboration. Both great guitarists, write music like no other and both got shafted by tyrannical band leader (as did the late Rick Wright). In 1994, when VH1 ran the Top 5 Tours of 1994 I said Streisand(#5)'s a diva, Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead #4)'s a hippie, Don Henley (Eagles at #3)'s a douche, David Gilmour (#2 Pink Floyd)'s the man and Ron Wood (Rolling Stones #1)'s an abusive drunk.
