  • Absolutely stunning interpretation by Barbirolli full of passion, warmth and romanticism. Only Jocum on one occasion has done a better interpretation in that respect. Let's not forget the Furtwangler's interpretation in the fourties and the Mravinsky interpretation in the seventies too versus other esthetical and purposeful approaches.
