Featuring art and paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Hirschberger, and Spadecaller, this music video entitled, Unholy Union dramatizes the fusion of religion and government as it was expressed during Hitlers Third Reich.
Other than the paintings presented in this video, all the other artwork is derived from actual photographs of Hitler, the holocaust, the church, and clergy. Those who attempt to revise history and to pretend that Hitler was an atheist are not just mistaken, they have failed to extract one of the most valuable lessons from this horrific period of history; the marriage of church and state provided the Nazis a method to exploit and manipulate a nation to carry out unconscionable crimes against humanity.
At 1:50 you can see the "Grand Mufti" of Jerusalem. As'ad Shuqeiri .He is the father of Ahmad Shukeiri (1908-1980), the first leader of the Palestine Liberation Organisation.Like Nazi lover father, like son.

Excellent. My mother was a young Catholic in the Third Reich in a young people's movement opposed to Hitler. Which doesn't mean that on another level the Church couldn't embrace Hitler. A fervent believer once said to me: "The Mother Church has very encompassing arms and can make room for the most opposing view points." Well, not mine.
