3 weeks later

After seeing Joe and breaking up with James things went crazy Caitlyn had me opening a new store, I was having to step in for Caityln on the interview for the stores grand opening because she wasn't going to be here that was tonight...

I walked through the store that was still under construction as I was on the phone...Caitlyn was going to be here tonight to check on things and it had to be at least clean and ready by than, and tomorrow I had a wedding to go to...I got to get shocked by the news that my brother...Dave and my boss Caitlyn had been dating for the past 8 months with out any one knowing and they were engaged for a month and the wedding was thursday...they had invited family and close friends and nothing else...

Two hours later the place was ready to show to Caitlyn and I was standing behind the counter presenting it to her as she walked through the door.

"Oh my gosh! Kay!" she said walking towards me as I lifted my arms like I was showing off a prize

"How did you do this! I expected construction workers and-"

"And I got it done" I said a smile on my face and she nodded

"Oh my gosh Kay! this is...this is amazing!" she said coming around and hugging me

"So...What do you want for a wedding present?" I asked and she glanced around

"This is more than I could ask for...just you being there after all this" she said and I nodded

"Alright" I said glancing around when an idea dawned in my head.

I spent the rest of the day buying furniture and accesories for the store and I set it up like a fancy boutique in the front where the shoppers with special orders came in, and I would give Caitlyn the key after the wedding.


I got ready for the interview after getting everything perfect for Caitlyn and I headed towards the premiere for the movie Caityln had done the clothing line for and found myself being interviewed on live TV.

"So I hear you were actually in charge for most of the production of the line for this movie while Caitlyn Connors was actually just the designer?" the man said putting the mic in face

"Ms. Connor did a lot of work on this I give her all the credit" I said and he smiled and continued with the questions

-Joe-

Nick and Alex were laying on the couch together flipping through TV channels when I walked through the living room and thought I saw Kay on the TV

"Go back" I said taking the remote from Nick's hand
They went back three channels

"Stop!" I yelled as Kay came back on the screen being interviewed

"So we also can't avoid your love life being a full time desginer we've heard the rumors of you and a James Addison finally ending the relationship?" the announcer said and Kay nodded

"Yeah James has actually gone to a different company and we have remained friends but nothing more" Kay said and continued talking about clothes as I stood there watching in amazement of her on my TV.


-Kay-

I sat at Caitlyn and Dave's wedding and while I was way happy for them sitting next to Jeremy and his girlfriend and watching Dave get married made me just...I just wanted Joe by my side...

I gave Caitlyn the key and headed home...to be alone...
