Vanessa wannabe :D

The music is not the one she plays, it do not match with what she plays and no live feel.

Enemmän mä kyllä katoin lampeniuksen meloneja kuin kuuntelin sen soittoa

No esta mal, pero me sigo quedando con Vanessa Mae.

Her depth and emotion is more mature than any other violinist! She can wear a potato sack and look hot but that doesnt matter she pours her heart out in her playing. I would pick her over Vanessa Mae not on technique but on pure raw essense alone.

I think she's wearing a suitable outfit for a pop rock festival, doesn't matter if it's the 90s or 00s.
She never performs like this in classical concerts, though. She always wears gowns or something even more conservative. "The other one" does classical concerts in miniskits.. Respectabe?
And although she wants to seperate classical and pop music, she did agree to do this one pop version of a classical piece, because Bach's "Toccata and Fugue" already had such a major status in pop culture.

well she could've atleast choosen a better outfit more suitable for a violinist...and thi version really doesn't suit me in my opinion.......
I remember when Linda played her first solo performance with the Finnish National Orchestra, and opened Sibeliuspäivät in Finland. She is amazing to watch, and imo Linda has far better technique than Vanessa Mae.

So much better? Technically, not at all. That's a fact. Musically, I prefer Linda Lampenius' version; it's more confrontational and striking as well as clearer. The solo violin part in this version is also faster than in Mae's. Otherwise, Lampenius is more of a classical violinist while Mae is a pop artist. Lampenius' pop appeal is very unique, too, though. But I don't see these two as competitors. They love playing the violin, and we should just enjoy the music :)
