Don't Fear the Reapers - Bone Pits Tutorial - Guild Wars Halloween

This is a tutorial for completing the Bone Pits part (the most difficult part) of the Guild Wars quest 'Don't Fear the Reapers' (a Halloween quest).

The video quality isn't great, as this video was made on a whim and is dedicated to a friend of mine who was having trouble with this part. I figured that others might find this useful as well.

Note that this, by chance, was not a very difficult run. There weren't any really tricky situations, but even so, my play wasn't exactly optimal: e.g. I wasted time around 1:46 for no particular reason.

thank you for posting this, your in video comments are helpful. i'm having trouble using the keyboard to select the next enemy without having the focus be shifted to some enemy far away from me. I'm curious how you were able to select the enemies so precisely, anything different than 'c' '3' 'tab' '3'?

did your choice of weapon assist you at all? i've been trying by using cupcakes and that has helped some.

@atrius00 Tab selects the next-nearest enemy. At 1:06 I selected by mouse to make sure. 'c' '3' 'tab' '3' is exactly what I did.

Weapon choice I don't think matters. I had my regular staff, as a necro.

@atrius00 Actually, some corrections: The time that I select by mouse is actually 1:04 and this char was a monk not a necro, but that makes no meaningful difference.

were you went across the bridge ive seen other videos were people rest there (to the right of the bridge)

@panzermort Yeah, you can rest in various places along the run, but nowhere is safe for long. It all depends on where the mobs are. You can also knockdown spam a few mobs while you wait for Mad King's Influence to recharge. Knockdown spam makes this run a bit too easy I think...

@flomogojo1234 I do: Labyrinth > Forgotten Vale > Bone Pits > Chaos Plains > Spawning Pools > Twin Serpent Mountains > Ice Wastes.

Wow. I hadn't been bothering to use sugar shock at all because I usually manually target. forgot all about the tab button. thank you this will help me a lot!

Never completed this quest before, always died at the bone pits. Watched this movie, finished it in 42 minutes.
