The G8 Sensor Delivery System is a remotely operated
platform equipped with an elevating lift mechanism.
The G8 system is equipped with a video surveillance
camera and configured to carry vendor or user supplied
equipment. Sensors: Wireless remote radiation monitoring equipment, Cabled remote radiation survey equipment, Contact coating thickness testers, Air quality and combustible gas monitors
Features: Joystick navigation, 250ft[76.2m] remote operation, Mobile controller with viewing monitor, Pan, tilt, zoom camera (36x optical and 12x digital)
The lifting device allows close inspection of surfaces from
ground level to an elevation up to 8.0ft[2.4m]. Improved
inspection capability can reduce the need for personnel
entry into confined spaces resulting in improved industrial
and radiological safety.
