Hyundai Santa Fe. The Hyundai Santa Fe is an example of what today's mid-size SUVs have become -- family haulers that are practical yet comfortable, able to take on mountain roads but not designed to go far beyond them. With options to seat seven and tow up to 3500 pounds, the Santa Fe is versatile enough to meet the needs of today's families. In the Hyundai tradition, it also offers a long list of standard equipment, safety features and Hyundai's esteemed 10-year/100,000 mile warranty -- all in one handsome package. • Is it roomier than CR-V ?

  • It is. The seats are also more comfortable. The CR-V's seats are highly bolstered which can be uncomfortable for people of larger stature.

  • I've had Kia and Honda. Both ran very well for years past 100,000. Also had a Toyota and is started to malfunction near 60,000.
