I must admit that " Idiocracy" is a guilty pleasure, even though it strays dangerously close to poking fun at the mentally challenged. The premiss that our best and brightest are not reproducing as quickly as the not-too-bright certainly seems valid, as does the trend in our society towards coarseness and banality. The only problem I have with the story is the 500 year timeline; it seems more like it will only take a couple of generations.The billboards I shot were all up in L.A. County in the summer of 2011. I was tempted to include products like Arrogant Bastard Ale and ads for the Hempcon medical MJ expo, which is next door to an adult expo, but I opted to let the gratuitous sex & violence speak for the situation.
