Super Mario RPG: Remix Beta Walkthrough Part 4

This is a walkthrough of the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars hack, Remix Beta! It is not a speed-run. I will show you how to collect everything. No cheats were used.

I get through the final screen of Mushroom Way and fight a quite hard Hammer Bro. The very hard (for a normal enemy) Spikeys can pose a problem. Especialy if you only have a few mushrooms left. So if you're low on health and items then avoid them as you're going to need the items for the Hammer Bro. Even though there is now only one Hammer Bro. it's still very hard. I recommend using normal attacks against him until he uses Valor Up. After that attack him with your most powerful special attack until you beat him. Don't forget to use mushrooms throughout the battle when your HP gets low.

This hack does not change any graphics in the game, but instead focuses on remixing the game and creating a definite challenge. Significant changes to the game include:

# Enemy + boss AI has been completely changed and is often much harder than before
# Battle dialogue (events/Psychopath) has been changed accordingly to accompany this
# Character/enemy/boss stats are all changed immensely; one notable difference is that the max character level is now level 50 as opposed to level 30.
# Character and enemy spells have all mostly had stat or effect changes
# Items/equipment/store inventories have all been changed.
# Item/equipment descriptions are actually extremely helpful now!
# To sum it up, if you loved the original SMRPG but are tired of acing it, this hack is perfect because it makes the experience refreshing and much more difficult (example: Bowyer casting Arrow Rain).
