Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Cadash for the TurboGrafx-16, developed by Taito, and localized by Working Designs. Originally released in arcades in 1989, Cadash was one of the earlier hybrids of platformers and RPGs, with some difficult hack and slash gameplay. This port for the TurboGrafx-16 is fairly similar to the arcade version, except for it being even more difficult due to its lack of a continue feature. But you still dungeon crawl your way through the game as a fighter, mage, priest, or ninja. Just watch out for that black pudding! This review features Cadash gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.

  • Get off the drugs son. Buy more herbs, they're just like continues. This game rules and was ground breaking as far a decent port from arcade to home console was concerned back in the day. A review that doesn't get off the 1st level doesn't have any legs as far as I'm concerned. I'm sorry, but if young reviewers are going to review my classics in a haphazard way, they are gonna get a foot up there ass.

  • Reminds me more of Castlevania then Zelda 2.

  • this version kills the genesis one in my opinion

  • He only olayes the first level

  • I remember this game. I loved the hell out of it.

  • @ABlackFalcon Yeah pretty much if you use the continue code on cadash. At least the TG16 version gives you the time to do some grinding while the arcade version didn't.Btw i never understood, why the genesis version didn't have the pristess and ninja those characters made the game a breeze to play.

  • Dem thighs

  • Loving these TurboGrafx-16 reviews!

By the way, thumbs up for the video description Kevin!

  • The title of the game still sounds like an onomatopoeia.

  • @galagajunkie Did you think that was funny in your head? 'Cause it's not.

  • @AceEbb77 Sorry dude, not yet.
