Whilst holidaying in South Australia early February, a visit to the Port Augusta region was made. This was the train chased early in the morning on the 9th, during the drive from Mt. Lofty. Extra SCT loading hauled by 80 and 442 class Alcos.
Except for the double-stacks at the end of the train, this video brings back a lot of memories of the NSW main-west in the early-mid 80s... lots of 80's and Alcos on fast interstaters.
