Dave Kelly and Jerry Lewis together serving those in need! Here is one of the humble beginnings of my path to becoming America's Student Leadership Trainer (sm) and America's Community Service Advocate (sm). This was actually my second appearance on the MDA telethon on behalf of Circle K International. My dad stayed up most of the night to record this for me. Serving as Circle K International President while a full-time college student at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh was the culmination of my student leadership journey, which began while I was a Key Club member and attending a convention in Green Bay, WI. At that convention, I volunteered to become a state leader by raising my hand and saying "I'll do it!" when no one else would step forward. That led me into leadership as a student, into student government, into developing the abilities and talents that I would need to found and head a multi-state mortgage company for ten years, and to serve as the most honored advisor in the history of Circle K International. I now channel all of those leadership experiences into showing college students how they can change the world by serving others, through the development of their leadership skills and abilities.
