First test ride of a coreflute fairing attached to a home-made low racer recumbent. The day is quite windy, so speed had to be kept below about 40km/hr to avoid getting blown over on the crosswind sections The Carnegie velodrome has a good smooth surface and is 365m in circumference - mid line is about 380m. It's fairly exposed to the wind, with sea breezes in the summer. Unfortunately it's usually booked by the Carnegie Cycling club at most good times between spring and autumn.
