am new in scrapbooking..i hope to get my own cricut on april..any advice on what else should i be getting?

@mevidalady The Cricut is great - you will love it. It can get expensive but if you are happy with a few general carts with images and fonts it's not too bad. A personal trimmer is a must have, a tape runner, and some great paper. I love Creative Memories Power Palettes and paper kits because they have everything together that match and you can get a lot of pages done. I only use CM albums for my scrapbooking too. There are tons of ideas out there (I post pages Tues on my blog).

Oh, you'll love it! It's so fun, I try to use it every day. Watch out, the cartridges are soo adictive, even if you don't "need" another, you want them all!!!! Have fun with it - I posted a couple more vids talking about the different carts.

@a1angiem I was wondering can you some how cut like shapes you want and not the shapes they give you on the cartrige? for instance if you see charlie scheen on the net. Can you somehow cut it with cricut?

@finemofok It's not that flexible on its own. I know you can get a program (SCAL) which allows you to cut designed images on your computer and share cut files with others, but I haven't used it and don't know if you can simply transfer photos into a cut file...try the Cricut message boards and you might find a thread on the topic.

Mine only came with One cutting mat, and the Playtime Cart, and the Cricut Classic Font cartridge. I had to buy the spatula seperate....

When my mom got it, she only got 1 cartridge....

I really want a Cricut, although the Expression is way out of budget for me, I'm aiming towards the Create or the Original Cricut. Have fun with your new Cricut :)
