Kawasaki KDX 200

My 1991 Kawasaki KDX 200 2-Srtroke! She's a little old but, when you start her up she still rips like she's brand new. Love the 2-stroke trail bike power. It smokes a bit when you start it, but once you get into the powerband it's all good and clean. It sounds much better in person, real loud. Scares the neighbors, lol. Lots of fun, especially out here in the country. Trust me they all know when I'm coming by. Hoping to scrape up enough money to buy a Pro Circuit fatty pipe. And maybe a body kit if I get some extra cash.

i thought it was bad to let a 2 stroke idle?

@kevfulltilt1 no its bad to ride it like a four stroke and hold it full to the bar, 2 strokes your supposed to burp the throttle, but idling is fine its not burning hot enough or running hard to do damage

have u ever had to rebuild this thing, and do u have to do alot of maintenence on it besides normal stuff

@seanmccullough67 I bought the bike and it was all original never been rebuild had it for over a year before I sold it. The thing ran like a champ and they last a lot longer than the motorcross bikes..which your suposed to change your rings every 10 or so hours to prevent early rebuilds. These bikes are good fun reliable bikes.

Its not really bad they just dont idle good they stall out unlike a fourstroke

@magnummcneil If thats a 2 stroke it shud be goin way faster.. i had my KDX 200 2 stroke all stock goin 110 MPH on the highway

@lance101690 man your bike must be even faster than that. 60 mph is 100 kph and i almost hit 140 kph riding beside my buddy in his truck on that bike. Its a quick bike for sure lol

@quadfreak300 I have a KDX 200 and it goes about 60 to 70 mph. This bike can get up and get it. My bike has been rebuilt though. I wouldn't trade it for anything though
