This was recorded in the GYBR sessions wasn't it? Doesn't sound the same as the tracks on Dont Shoot Me

i thought boston stole "more than a feeling" from Lou Reed, "Live in Berlin", until I heard this song.

It's weird how Boston 'stole' the intro for their 1976 song More than A Feeling. The same happened with the British band James that 'borrowed' the intro of a forgotten Elton's song "All the Nasties" from Madman Across the Water for their 1990s hit 'Say Something"
I think this is another example of how underrated Elton is, and I believe this has to do with his unpretentious flamboyance and sexuality... Shame.

@kennygr8 This track was originally on Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player -- the clip art is the album cover.

sounds a lot like more than a feeling

"Elderberry Wine" was the b-side of "Crocodile Rock"... good songs from the "Don't Shoot Me..." lp.

Used to love this song as a kid. If I'm not mistaken, it was the "B" side of the "Crocodile Rock" 45, and I think I used to play it almost as much as the "A" side.

probably his childhood
This was the B side Of Goodbye Yellowbrick Road Why it was never released on an album I can't understand

It's amazing how wrong mainstream radio was with Elton John. His worst songs made the radio and his best work went unnoticed. At least we recognize
