My 8 year old PC with 386 MB, yes Megabytes. Windows XP Professional, and tons of shit on it, starts in 37 seconds. After that is just sucks though.

It isn't. I have two more. One is a homebuilt: 3.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 Extreme 1.5TB of Storage 3GB of RAM Windows Vista Ultimate And a Dell: Dell Dimension 8400 Pentium 4 3GHz HT 1GB of RAM 149GB HD Windows XP Pro Sp2. I want a Mac though lol

2. Could you explain WHY you like finder better? just saying there ARE more pros than cons to it, doesn't help those you're trying to persuade into moving.

3. For people on a budget, and those who don't like wasting money, if they already have a PC, don't switch over just for the file menu bar and finder.

I'll be watching #2 and see if there is anything good or bad about it.

Firstly, I'd like to say I'm a windows user, and hopefully always will be, but we'll wait and see on that.

1. If you have multiple programs on screen instead of having to go to click on the window then going up there, you can go directly to the file bar on that window. Also the amount of space they take up is about half an inch. If you're in dire need of that half an inch, you might want to get a new monitor not a new apple computer.
