A 15mm scale live steam model of the Atkinson Walker locomotive as supplied to the 3 foot gauge Clogher Valley Railway in Ireland.
The model is chain driven from a 2 cylinder geared steam engine as per the prototype.

  • Most of it was built by John Campbell, based on a brass body etch from Worsley Works and some detailing by me.

    You can see more details and links at the Worsley Works website.

  • Only 6 - with another one due some time fairly soon. Don't forget I've been at this since before you were born :-).

  • @chappybolo .The first loco I built was a 3.5" Maisie. It took 7 years of my spare time, but I had to build a 30' x 10' garage to house the machines in between starting Maisie and finishing her.

  • I read a book from the library about the Clogher Valley railway. Most interesting read.

  • I have 1 accucraft ruby, and a 3.5'' gauge GNR Maisie Atlantic.
