This brilliant musical documentary tells the story of Ronnie Lane from his heyday with first the Small Faces and then the Faces, through the sixties and seventies, his experiments with a rural life and the touring musical circus that he dubbed The Passing Show. Finally it charts his latter days once he developed Multiple Sclerosis. Featuring numerous musical clips and interviews with family, friends and colleagues including Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Ian McLagan, Kenney Jones, Glyn Johns, Henry McCullough, Joe Ely and many more.

  • A lovely doc on a very lovely man.

  • A real diamond who paid his dues only to get robbed through his career.Don Argent and his daughter Sharon prove the turd doesn't fall far from the shitehouse's arse.Sadly she's still here and loaded while poor Ronnie never got the money he was rightfully owed.Hope you're happy up there mate.

  • Ronnie Lane, great Music, your bass playing is inspiring even now. Musically you were a genius, I wish you had a better manager!! You were ripped off, what a shame. RIP

  • I would've gravitated more to The Small Faces than to Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, Greatful Dead, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Traffic, Cream, The Yardbirds, etc. actually I don't really care for the latter. Pretentious.

  • How much I am loving this life story of Ronnie Lane.

What a grace it was that Ronnie had such good friends to care for him in his hour of need. I wish there were some way his heirs could get the money he earned that was stolen by Argent. That would be such a fitting coda to the life story of such a true good guy.

  • 6:30..Not convinced Katie ?...."Don't worry,be happy"......how bloody naive can you get Townshend ? Gurus are NØT cooL..
