Through this new iteration of WVS, Acunetix reaffirms its position as a leader in the development of web application security scanners.
Verion 8 of WVS introduces further automation features to make vulnerability scans easier to launch and complete. Examples of improved automation are: automatic recognition of custom 404 error pages, automatic interpretation of IIS 7 rewrite rules, and quick saving and recalling of scan settings templates.
Other exciting new features include the new web-based scheduler, detection of HTTP Paramater Pollution vulnerabilities, Imperva Web Application Firewall integration, simplified Scan Wizard, and multiple-instance support.
