his is a 60watt USED RV solar panel, it does not have a glass top it is plastic so it can take a beating, i do not know who makes it or the model #. it runs to a morningstar sunsaver ss20l-12v charge controller (this is the best out there) then to two 6v deep cycle golf cart batteries. (making 12v) it has run my refrigerator for a week and has not even dented the battery output, every day the panel tops them up even with the fridge running. can run indefinitely.

She is the one that will not let me sell it, and she drives it harder than i do. Sounds like you need to find a different wife.

Do NOT place it on the hood too many tree branches and hood slamming problems. find a spot on the top of the truck, it worked well for me for years before the rack was made

No i don't need a solargizer, I have the battery terminal block located near the engine batteries so if i need to jump start the engine batteries i can from the remote terminal. or if i have the time i can simply run wires from the solar panel charge controller to the engine batteries to top them off.

Question, from you video i understand you are running both your 12v fridge and 24v MRE heater, all at the same time being charged from the same panel. how do you wire it that you can run both volts?

Glass withstands more then plastic, Most solar panels have stained safety glass..

K, I'll put the Solargizer on the roof. The solargizer isn't really for charging so much as it's for conditioning, btw. At least, according to everything I've read on it.
