Take a look inside the galley of the Farley Mowat and meet the three women who are charged with feeding the entire crew of 31 volunteers.

Operation Leviathan is a campaign already underway by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to physically intervene with Japanese pirate whaling operations in the Southern Ocean. Sea Shepherd is using two ships, the Farley Mowat and the Robert Hunter (previously codenamed "Leviathan"), over 60 international volunteer crewmembers, a helicopter ("Kookaburra"), and fast Zodiac inflatable boats. The whalers murder quota for the winter of early 2007(which is actually summer in Antarctica) altogether consists of up to a thousand Minke, fin and humpback whales.
The Sea Shepherd crews are risking their lives to protect the sentient, extremely intelligent mammals who share the planet with us.

  • We know what good is, we know what we have to do and while the ones who lack heart continue without mercy we can't stop through whatever medium we choose to stop them and their destructive actions with. Thanks for having a hear Zing and god bless you.

  • What Watson's managed to do is incredible, we all know it but we're all too afraid and embarrassed to follow it through. His organization is proof that if you create something that's genuine pure and full of heart your angels will meet you there, Laura is one and so is everyone else.
