i jus got vista 2day and i didn't wan't XP at alk so i installed vista. so the only os i have is vista, and thats fine but when i deleted XP i think the internet went with it. now when i plug up my modem's ethetnet cord in the laptop, nothing even happens. in XP it would say connected but now i have no internet. ehat shiuld i do?
There are utilities available online to display your WEP or WPA-PSK key after you have assigned it in Windows. Google "WEP Key Password Spy" and you should be set. I've used this a number of times to retrieve network passwords for my clients.
