They fell into the American TV trap of stretching a story out so far that people who are trying to watch it end up blinding themselves with rusty cutlery to alleviate the BOREDOM. I'd run out of eyes by the third episode.

basically the american population are a blood thirtsy bunch of zombies. give them a show full of blood an explosions and they are happy. If they have to think about storylines etc then foprget it. My favourite show Firefly was cancelled because it didnt appeal to the thick as shit population on America.

Sgu needs to come back, with a Sg-1 movie too. And maybe a web episode for atlantis

The trouble with SGU was it strayed too far away from what the fans LOVED about SG1 and SGA. It was trying too hard to be one of those 'gritty-modern' which lets be honest have been successful.

The writers lack the skills to make viewers care about the characters.Stargate Universe is a bigger train wreck than my vagina after a weekend gangbang at a Latin Kings fund raiser to bail out a homey.The more I watch the show, the LESS I care about any of the charactors. Nowhere to go. They keep moving, no recurring enemies. In fact, it went a ridiculous number of episodes with no major enemy at all. The show was just lame worst epic fail EVER!
