One thing I didn't see that was a set of restraints. If you're in a situation where you give the "drop the gun" order and they actually do, how will you de-escalate yourself and hold him till backup arrives?

it bothers me when people criticize nutnfancy for talking about weight so much. You have to understand, he's coming from the viewpoint of law enforcement and a soldier. It's not the weight of the knife he's actually worried about, he's worried about what he has on his person as a whole. This means watching the weight on everything you carry
