This is a growing problem in BC, police overlook important tragedies happening for more then 30 years.Young woman have been going missing along Highway 16 in Northern BC. Living in Smithers growing up and having one of my best friends be one of the girls that went missing caused fear and girls in my hometown to always wonder where the girls were going.FromPrince George To Prince Rupert young woman hitchhiking and walking on the highway have been missing , some bodies being found but most of them never to be seen again. The families in the north are crazy everyday wondering where their sweet girls have gone

I feel so much for all these girls and their families.I too have had a close friend taken on the highway of tears.they recently caught her murderer.Cody Alan Legebokoff.21 years old and facing 4 counts of first degree murder.what is the world coming to these days...

I have been trying to tell the police for 12 years about a man who bound, raped and tortured my child... he drove Highway of Tears in a van with chains hanging from the ceiling behind the passenger seat and also owned a home in 100 Mile House where bodies surroud his property. He was always giving me used women's clothing, wallets, and watches, had a secret compartment under his bathroom floor and my child describes him eating human flesh....
