Tyler Anderson surfing sandspit, aka sandbar, on a quad fish may 21, 2008.

Tyler Anderson is from santa barbara, ca and absolutely kills it. I have seen him surf a wide variety of boards on different waves. He surfs with rediculous amounts of speed, style, power & precision!

  • love this vid epic... just wondering whether a fish is a board i could start on? considering that i have experience in the surf on the boogs but not stand up.

  • depends what kind of waves your riding. i went from a 7 foot fun shape to a 5'7 quad fish pretty easily. they are more bouyant and nuggety than a normal shortboard, but loose and skatey. im only surfing waves from knee high to over head, otherwise, im filmin'

  • hey buddy your board its awesome, you have to lean yout body and push on your foot trying to turn away I have one like yours its wonderful...

  • linha de surf maneira com essa retro fish

  • dude where was this?? the waves look fun! :)

  • hey, I'm getting a custom fish, and I don't know what size to get. I have experience on a 7'8" Fun board and I got quite good on it. I am 5'4" and weigh 105 roughly. The guy says since I don't have experience on a shorter board he's gonna make a 6'3" for me.

    Would this be fine?

    Thanks,

    Shane

and his surfing is nice and smooth

  • @surfpoint90210 haha yeah, i love his style

  • this is how surfing should always look like on a shortboard. smooth transitions from cutback to snap to snap to pump to snap to spin. OMG i want to be that smooth!
