Episode 5: Linda
Linda, 47, is a manager of a prestigious San Diego theater. But a deep self-consciousness about her body and her fear of being objectified at work has kept her cloaked in baggy jeans and oversized sweaters - even when she has to hobnob with the theater's prominent clients and donors. Linda needs to ditch the schlumpy stagehand look, but can Stacy and Clinton convince this team player that she'll still be respected if she looks like a leading lady?

I love how Ted actually talks to the ladies and asks them how they feel about things. You can tell he cares. With Nick, he always just seemed mean.  Like "I'm gonna cut alot off." And then he'd cut a chunk and kind of throw it at the ladies. I think he was cruel and hurtful where Ted is sweet, respectful, and most of all.....CREATIVE!!!!!

Ok, I have been thinking this for several episodes and I just have to say it. That white strip in Stacey's hair makes her look like Cruella DeVille.

I've watched about 20 episodes of this (not all today, but over the course of the week... I am recovering from surgery so ty for uploading), & if this show is not a clear demonstration of how the media has corrupted women's body image, then I don't know what is. I mean, woman after woman who is uncomfortable with her body, hates how she looks, etc. because she has been bombarded her entire life with images that tell her that she just isn't good enough. It's truly sickening & should be criminal.

I love Ted even more now because he did a boy-cut (I don't know the technical name for it lol, but I love them) with Jillian, and he still managed to do the same thing but make it different with Linda.

@bullydolphin I don't know how anyone could perceive Linda as conceited. It's her lack of self.confidence that makes her concerned about being oogled. And it's a fact that being taken seriously in the workplace is a big issue for a lot women.
